BIOGRAPHY

Mimi is a makeup and hair artist whose concentrated expertise provides her with the professional confidence to suitably work in a variety of sectors within the beauty industry.

Mimi believes in exceeding client expectations through producing high standard, beautiful hair and makeup looks that accommodate client desires. She sees the industry as ever growing and uses this to constantly find and apply new skills to learn and develop her technical abilities that make her skill set strong enough to approach any job confidently. 

 

From the age of 16 Mimi was thrown into the industry at the deep end, learning the tricks of the trade first-hand through assisting makeup and hair professional and academy founder Alicia Sandeman on weddings. She now obtains a degree in Hair and Makeup Design after graduating from Southampton Solent University in 2021. Her confident personality and easy nature make her easy to work with while maintaining a professional and organised work ethic.  Amelia’s philosophy developed from here, she prides herself on professionalism. She understands the importance of having a strong, positive relationship with a client and believes that the key to any great look is the consequence of this collaboration with a client. 

 

She is currently based in London working for YSL Beauty in Harrods with a strong desire to pursue a career in the fashion and editorial beauty industry.
